SCHOOL READINESS

(AGE 4 AND ABOVE)

MONDAY TO FRIDAY

Morning Session    : 9am to 12pm

Afternoon Session : 1pm to 4pm

 

Each student will be assigned an individualised physical and academic programme, which is designed according to the child’s entry level. The teacher student ratio for this group is 1:2. All students will be taught using the Orton-Gillingham Approach when learning to read, write and spell.

PROGRAMMES

 

Brain Connection (BC) offers four sub-programmes curated according to a student’s ability and age.

PRIMARY

(AGE 7 AND ABOVE)

MONDAY TO FRIDAY 9am to 3pm

 

Students will be grouped in a class of 6 students with 2 co-teachers according to their abilities level. They will be assisted and taught according to their respective class manual. Core subjects such as English, Mathematics and Science will be taught while attention is also given to non-core subjects such as Functional and Vocational skills.

A.C.E AND VOCATIONAL

(AGE 10 AND ABOVE)

MONDAY TO FRIDAY 9am to 3pm

 

Students who have the potential to accommodate more academic skills will be transferred to this programme which consists of a class of 6 students with 2 co-teachers. These students will work towards a certified homeschool programme, which is recognised by the MOE (Ministry of Education). These students will also be enrolled into our specialised vocational programme.

VOCATIONAL & FUNCTIONAL

(AGE 10 AND ABOVE)

MONDAY TO FRIDAY 9am to 3pm

 

This programme focuses at facilitating a student’s transition to life after Brain Connection. To achieve this goal, we are collaborating with Rainbow Centre, Singapore, to develop transition plans such as functional education and vocational training based on each student’s needs, abilities, independent skills, personal interest and goals. Students will be divided in a classroom of 6 with 2 co-teachers. All vocational teachers will be trained by Rainbow Centre.
